International Women’s Day

It’s International Women’s Day. Exactly one hundred years ago today, the first ever International Women’s Day was inaugurated, and since then the world has changed immeasurably.

Last year I loved opening my blog up to guest contributors and I’ve asked some people to do the same again this year, so hopefully throughout the next few days, you’ll be treated to a variety of thoughts and views on the role and joy of womanhood in our world in 2011.

Here’s to a fearless indomitable womanhood, a fearless indomitable race.
